This course is designed to provide an introduction to the profession of dental assisting. The classroom portion will cover topics including Ohio law and ethics, dental terminology, head and neck anatomy,  infection control procedures, proper use and care of dental instruments and equipment, dental materials, dental specialties, and radiology. Students will apply topics covered in the classroom portion of the course in a supervised lab setting. They will also sit for Ohio approved Radiology class to receive a dental radiology license.
